When the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic hit northern Romania, entrepreneur Ștefan Mandachi decided to step up and help his community. He converted everything he owned into an anti-Covid19 resource: his fast food chain would provide free food for hospitals. His hotel was closed for guests, and all rooms made available for medical personnel, for free. Finally, his project to raise money for education was rerouted to provide emergency financial aid in the fight against the pandemic. This project, designed as a real-life version of the Million-Dollar-Webpage, would allow benefactors to "buy" centimeters of Mandachi's notorious 1-meter long highway. So far, 1.4 million Euros have been raised.
